WHAT IS A FILLERS?
Fillers are substances that are injected into the skin to fill in wrinkles, add volume, or enhance the shape
of certain facial features. Fillers can be made of different materials, such as hyaluronic acid, calcium
hydroxylapatite, or poly-L-lactic acid. Fillers can be used to improve the appearance of the lips, cheeks,
chin, nose, forehead, or under the eyes.
ABOUT THE FILLERS PROCEDURE
The Fillers procedure is usually done in a clinic or a spa by a trained technician or a doctor. The procedure
involves using a fine needle or a cannula to inject the filler into the desired area. The procedure may take
from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the type and amount of filler used. The procedure may cause some
discomfort, such as a stinging or pressure sensation, but most people tolerate it well. Some people may use a
topical numbing cream or ice to reduce the sensation.
